Too many professionals move through life achieving, producing, and succeeding — yet quietly struggle in the relationships that matter most. We believe true significance is not built on accomplishment alone, but on intimacy, alignment, and purpose.
GapCafe is a nonprofit organization dedicated to busy professionals who desire more than success — they want a life of meaning, healthy relationships, and lasting impact.
We exist to close the intimacy gap between you and those you love and serve.
GapCafe didn’t begin as a coaching program.
It began as a pattern.
Across hundreds of conversations with founders, professionals, pastors, and builders — we kept seeing the same quiet struggle:
Smart, capable leaders were achieving results…
…but feeling internally misaligned.
Serving without joy.
Producing without peace.
Winning without wholeness
The advice from “experts” was always predictable:
“Work harder.”
“Scale faster.”
“Just optimize.”
But no one was addressing the real gap.
There was no space to slow down and discern calling.
No structure for relational alignment.
No framework for integrating faith, family, and future.
So instead of creating another program, we built a process.
One that combines:
A safe first conversation (Cup 1: Connection)
Structured clarity across 7 Stages of Life (Cup 2: Clarity)
A guided 90-day realignment plan (Cup 3: Commitment)
Led personally by Charles, and supported by a small network of trained Destiny Coaches.
That system became GapCafe.

Our mission is simple:
Help high-capacity leaders realign success with soul.
We exist to make sure:
Growth doesn’t cost your relationships
Achievement doesn’t erode intimacy with God
Calling doesn’t get buried under responsibility
Leadership doesn’t become isolation
We believe leaders should not have to choose between:
Impact and intimacy
Productivity and peace
Success and spiritual health
GapCafe is about building lives that flourish — not lives that quietly fracture.

We believe:
Clarity matters more than intensity
Alignment beats acceleration
Soul health fuels sustainable leadership
Relationships are the true scoreboard
Most leaders don’t need more ambition.
They need space to:
Clarify their stage.
Discern their calling.
Strengthen their core relationships.
Commit to aligned action.
That’s the gap GapCafe fills.

Most growth happens with the right people around you. But finding them isn’t automatic. You might be networking, posting, or attending events—but nothing sticks.
Connection solves that.
It helps you:
Meet the right people: Those who inspire, challenge, and get what you’re doing.
Share and learn: Swap ideas, experiences, and advice that actually moves you forward.
Build a community that supports you: Real relationships, not just contacts.
Think of it as a map from “scrolling through LinkedIn” to “having people in your corner who get you.”
It’s easy to feel like you’re spinning your wheels. You have goals, but the path forward is fuzzy. Should you launch this? Focus there? Wait?
Clarity fixes that.
It helps you:
See your goals clearly: Know what matters most.
Spot obstacles before they stop you: Identify what’s holding you back—and how to get past it.
Plan actionable next steps: Break big ideas into real, do-able moves.
This isn’t theory. It’s the difference between “trying everything at once” and “moving forward every day with purpose.
Even with connection and clarity, progress stalls without follow-through. Ideas stay in your head, plans gather dust, and intentions fade.
Commitment solves that.
It helps you:
Set concrete intentions: Know exactly what you’re promising yourself.
Take action daily: Small, meaningful steps that add up.
Track and adjust: Keep yourself accountable without burnout.
It’s the step that turns potential into progress—where growth becomes real, measurable, and yours.

Charles Harewood is the founder of GapCafe and the visionary behind the 3 Cups of Connection framework:
Connect → Clarify → Commit.
With a background spanning engineering, economics, public service, and executive leadership, Charles has spent decades helping organizations improve systems, clarify strategy, and drive sustainable results. Over time, he began to recognize a deeper pattern — many high-capacity leaders were achieving outward success while quietly experiencing inward misalignment.
GapCafe was born from that realization.
Charles helps founders, executives, ministry leaders, and professionals close the gap between where they are and where they’re called to be — integrating faith, relationships, and work into one aligned life.
His approach blends structured business strategy, relational health principles, and Kingdom-centered leadership development.
Through in-person gatherings, coaching journeys, and strategic intensives, he guides leaders to:
Discern their true stage of life and calling
Restore alignment across God, self, family, and work
Build systems that support purpose — not replace it
Charles believes clarity precedes acceleration, and alignment precedes lasting impact.
His mission is simple:
To help leaders build lives and enterprises that produce fruit that remains.
